A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Kevin embodies the city’s deep roots in jazz, blues, and rock. Kevin has performed with a wide variety of acts - from piano jazz trio, to pop/rock shows, and even an eight-week run of Unbeatable the Musical. His most recent performances include tour dates in the US and Canada with singer songwriter Kendra Morris, jazz festival dates in Atlanta and Orlando with Pete Ayres, and pit work in the NYC area. Shows include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Caroline, or Change, Seussical the Musical, Songs for a New World, and How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. Other recent highlights include recordings and performances with Astro Keys, EP release show with Pete Ayres, recording The Belief Cycle Live EP, collaboration in KIN Organ Trio, and private events with The Metropolitan Players and Silver Arrow Band.
Kevin graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies from Webster University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and with departmental honors in Music. Under the guidance of long time teacher Kevin Gianino, his background has exposed him to a variety of musical styles and given him a great sight-reading and improvisational foundation.
Neyer is located in the New York City metro area and is pursuing his career as a freelance musician.
